Gelusil MPS Sachet is a antacid sachet. It contains Aluminium hydroxide, Dimethicone, Magnesium hydroxide, Sorbitol. They are commonly used in conditions where it is helpful to neutralise the acid made in the stomach.
Aluminium hydroxide is an antacid, which neutralises increased stomach acid.
Dimethicone is an antiflatulent which helps in releasing the gas.
Magnesium hydroxide is a laxative that increases water in the intestine and reduces stomach acid. It is also sugar-free and is generally well tolerated.
