Information about Utiof Tablet
Utiof tablet is a nutritional supplement formulated with Cranberry extract and D-Mannose.
Utiof tablet prevents adhesion of Uro Pathogenic E.Coli (UPEC) through both P-type & Type-1 pili. D-Mannose in Utiof prevents attachment of UPEC in bladder walls, and prevents cystitis (Bladder infections) and Cranberry prevents attachment of UPEC to the kidney walls, thereby preventing pyelonephritis (Kidney infections).
By preventing urinary tract infections, Utiof can also help reduce the need for antibiotics. Unlike antibiotics which are useful for mainly acute and existing UTIs, Utiof is suitable for prevention as a long-term use.
Unlike antibiotics, Utiof avoids development resistance, secondary infections, side effect and is safe in pregnancy. It is suitable for use in asymptomatic bacteriuria in pregnancy, recurrent cystitis, pyelonephritis, post-coital infections, recurrent UTIs in diabetics, adolescents & peri-post menopausal women.
Dosage: As directed by the Physician.
Side effects:-Headache, fever, cold, pain sometimes.
Food restrictions: Avoid consuming any food that is allergic to the content of this item, avoid alcohol with the usage of the item. If item application/consumption makes you feel uneasy then stop the usage of the item immediately.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children. – Item must not be used past the expiry date.
Usage of other items:
Sometimes items usage are not safe when you use them with certain other items and food. So taking them together can cause bad side effects. – Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the items you use.
If dose missed: Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Do not change the dose or stop this drug. Talk with the doctor always for any clarification.
