Zandu Punarnavarishtha Syrup details-

Punarnavarishtha Syrup contains Boerhavia diffusa, Tinospora cordifolia, Sida Cordifolia, Plumbago zeylanica, and Kantakari.

Role of active ingredient:
Boerhavia diffusa acts as hepatoprotective.
Tinospora cordifolia is very effective in preventing fibrous changes and promoting regeneration of the liver against hepatic toxicity.
Sida Cordifolia relieves diarrhoea, improves immunity and natural aphrodisiac.
Plumbago zeylanica is used as a liver tonic, as it enhances the liver metabolism.
Kantakari fruit is useful in disturbed digestion and metabolism.

Punarnavarishta Syrup is used in the treatment of:
Inflammatory Disorders,
Useful In Fatty Liver Changes,
Chronic Alcoholism,
Jaundice,
Anemia,
Cardiac Disorders.

Directions of use:
2 teaspoonful with equal water twice a day after meals.

Use under medical supervision.

Side effects:-Headache, fever, cold, pain sometimes.
